Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) III, you will act as a team lead, supervising all technical functions and assist the laboratory manager in performing the administrative duties of clinical coordination, and monitoring and evaluation of the laboratory department. Your responsibilities include direct supervision to MLTs l and ll and lead proficiency testing and participation in selection of new methods, new equipment and supplies. You may contribute to the annual budgeting process for supplies, capital requirements and staffing and will ensure that department services provided meet quality standards, are cost effective and are carried out in a timely manner.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
