Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of relevant addiction and mental health experience providing crisis intervention, preferably in a community setting. Formal clinical training in triage, intervention and stabilization, preferably in a community setting. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
