Additional Required Qualifications:1 - 3 years of staff scheduling experience in health care. Past experience and proficiency using ESP (Environment for Scheduling Personnel). Customer service orientation on the telephone with strong verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and within a team environment. Ability to multitask and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions and changing work demands required. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team. Accurate data entry and attention to detail skills required. Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills required. Demonstrated knowledge navigating through and working with a variety of computer applications including; Word, Excel, Connect Care. Ability to ambulate and move quickly in response to emergency situations. Experience in an addiction and mental health setting, preferably an acute care environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of Medical office certificate, Unit Clerk course, HR Diploma, or equivalent training and experience. Experience and proficiency with ESP (Environment for Scheduling Personnel). Completion of Scheduler or Liaison training in WFM. Working knowledge of applicable collective agreements and pay codes. Connect Care trained, including in “Front Desk”, “Registration Basics”, “Clinic Referrals”, “Ambulatory Clerk/Admin”, and “Schegistrar”.
