Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent clinical experience in acute medical or surgical care. Ability to work independently within scope of practice in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to maintain effective and respectful working relationships. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational, and assessment skills. Ability to work effectively as a team player. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care an asset. Previous experience in orthopedic and/or urological surgical nursing preferred.
