Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven ability to provide exceptional clinical care within a continually changing healthcare environment. Communication and assessment skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS HCP). The successful candidate will work independently in clients’ homes, which could include congregate settings, single family dwellings, condos and/or walk-up apartments. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to work in different settings and environments (home environments and weather conditions), as well as be able to lift and carry medical bags, which weigh approximately 25-30 lbs. At the time of interview, you may be required to demonstrate your computer knowledge and proficiency by completing a hands-on assessment. You must demonstrate sufficient typing speed to meet workload demand and navigate through various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook and Internet.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Home Care. Experience with Connect Care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
