Your Opportunity:
As an integral member of the Therapeutics team, the SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST II is responsible for: providing assessment and direct and indirect patient-related therapeutic care, in collaboration and consultation with other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team, including family members/caregivers; documenting assessment, consultation and treatment information; encouraging, participating in and facilitating the educational and professional development of self and other members of the health care team; collaborating in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of programs, policies, guidelines and standards: performing other related duties as required.

Description: The Speech Language Pathologist II provides identification, assessment, planning, coordination and delivery of care services to clients and families affected by communication and swallowing disorders. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Member in good standing of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in adult dysphagia with clinical and instrumental assessments. Experience with Connect Care.
